Easy way to create your own tea bags in seconds while enjoying the taste of your loose tea selection. This filter size is perfect to place in one cup of tea or a 1-4 cup teapot! The benefits of T-Sac are that is is disposable and heat sealable (make your own tea bags). It has a gusseted (expanded) bottom to allow the loose tea to expand and release all its flavor. The flap folds over a cup or teapots rim allowing any cover to be snapped on tight! Each individual box holds 100 filters and has a flip top lid. Assuming you use our "1 Cup of Perfect tea" measuring spoon, use 2-3 spoons for this size filter for green, white, black and oolong tea for herbal use 2-4 and for herb and fruit 2-5. For green tea always cool the water down from its boiling point before infusing. |
Safe Stainless Steel Tea Accessories
Our supplier uses 18/8 grade stainless steel exclusively in all metal products– infusers, strainers, teapots, etc. Like our teas, this grade has been approved safe for food use by:
- USFDA (US Food and Drug Administration)
- CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency)
- EFSA (European Food Standards Authority)
Strenuous testing
Unlike many lower grade stainless products, 18/8 grade will not corrode when exposed to the Tannins found in loose tea.
A Secure Product Supply Chain
Many competing stainless products, even those that look the same as products we carry, are not 18/8 and will corrode when exposed to hot tea. This may mean that dangerously high levels of nickel, chromium or aluminum could leach into your tea. Under no circumstances do we carry a potentially hazardous product to increase profit margins.
